Ultimo weekend a Londra per visitare la mostra fotografica Portrait of a City, a Century of American Photography, presso la Dulwich Picture Gallery. In mostra ci sono i grandi maestri americani della fotografia, nella loro rappresentazione delle città americane. Da Walt Withman a Ed Ruscha, Robert Adams, Elaine Mayes, Lee Friedlander, Herb Snitzer, Diane Arbus, Garry Winogrand, William Klein, Saul Leiter, Rebecca Lepkoff, Arthur Leipzig, Edward Weston.
E poi Lisette Model, Helen Levitt, Morris Engel, Weegee (Arthur Felling), John Gutmann, Ilse Bing, Berenice Abbott, Aaron Siskind, Imogen Cunningham, Walker Evans, John Gutmann, Bruce Davidson, Nicholas Nixon, André Kertész, Ruth Orkin, Roy DeCarava, Margaret Bourke-White, Dorothea Lange, Lewis Hine, Edward Steichen, Hugh Ferris, Edward Steichen.
Le foto esposte appartengono alla collezione della norvegese The Savings Bank Foundation DNB. E sono in mostra permanente presso il Lillehammer Art Museum ed il Drammens Museums of Art and Cultural History.
