LA COLLEZIONE DI GUNTER SACHS

SOTHEBY’S. Londra, 22/23 maggio 2012

Cheyenne Westphal, Chairman of  Contemporary Art Sotheby’s Europe, ha commentato: “We are thrilled with the response from collectors in this evening’s auction a combination of familiar faces and a significant number of new collectors. Tonight has been a true celebration of Gunter Sachs and the results are a fitting tribute. Throughout his life, one of Gunter Sachs’ greatest pleasures was living among the artworks, enjoying and sharing them with his friends and family, an d with the sale we’ve had the privilege of creating a fitting homage to the man as cosmopolitan playboy, collector and aesthete. Tomorrow we’ll continue the offering of this zeitgeist collection which narrates the 1960s and 1970s he lived and breathed.”
