La Evening Sale ha totalizzato £23,376,400 ($36,233,420) con un venduto dell’86% per lotto. Primo posto sul podio per Jean-Michel Basquiat con “Irony of Negro Policeman”, venduto per £8,161,250 ($12,649,938). In occasione dei Giochi Olimpici che si svolgeranno a Londra nel mese di agosto, “Olympics”, del 1984, realizzato a quattro mani da Basquiat e Andy Warhol ha archiviato il nuovo record mondiale per il duo con una aggiudicazione di £6,761,250 ($10,479,938).
