Ricordate la foto del giugno scorso in cui Charles Saatchi, il miliardario e collezionista sposato in seconde nozze nel 2003, stringeva le mani intorno al collo di Nigella Lawson in un ristorante di lusso a Londra?
Immaginiamo di sì, perchè avevano fatto il giro dei tabloid di tutto il mondo! Dopo quel fatto, le foto immortalavano una fragile Nigella che scappava via in lacrime, entrando così nelle grazie di tutti i britannici.
Ora la cuoca sexy e brava, dopo la causa di divorzio, è ancora sulla bocca di tutti: è stata travolta da un nuovo scandalo, da cui però non esce come vittima del marito ma come carnefice delle sue dipendenti. Sembrerebbe che sia una cocainomane e che avrebbe comprato il silenzio di due collaboratrici per evitare che il marito, oggi ex, lo venisse a sapere. La saga, scatenata dal processo alle due ex impiegate di origine italiana Francesca ed Elisabetta Grillo, sta appassionando il Paese. Sembra che l’accusa di essere cocainomane sia giunta da Saatchi proprio nel corso del processo a carico delle sorelle Grillo, accusate di aver abusato della carta di credito affidata loro per lavoro e che si sono difese dichiarando di essere state trattate dalla coppia “peggio di schiave filippine”.
Che sia una storia vera o falsa, e anche se il processo in realtà sia a carico delle Grillo, la tempesta si è abbattuta sulla Lawson, che ora appare come una drogata e schiavista.
Il danno è fatto: l’immagine di Nigella è stata fatta a pezzi. E la sua carriera televisiva è appesa a un filo.

Saatchi has made numerous attempts to corner the modern art world. Luckily for us he ‘failed” so far, making a nice bundle while at it. He is a frustrated money obsessed old man. He should kiss the ground Nigella walks on… and if he knew so well… why did not he help his wife, mother of his children to kick the habit. He just have might her addiction by his unliveable self, narcissistic ego which BTW dwarfs even the ego from The Donald. In all modesty, Charley you are loathed by most of the artists of your stable, other free artistic spirits wandering out there, being frustrated about the Saatchi Mafia who controls also many art galleries, do not even want to hear your name.
Icarus? remember? Your wife is a great woman, great cook, a stunner… now you will lose her too. Rest us an old frustrated man, his goal never achieved without the backbone Nigella was for you.
