Grammy 2016: trionfo Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga omaggia David Bowie. Non convince l’esibizione di Adele.
Anche quest’anno si sono tenuti a Los Anglese, come di consueto i Grammy, i premi per l’industria musicale.
Taylor Swift è stata ufficialmente incoronata miglior artista dell’ultimo anno grazie allo straordinario successo del suo ultimo album, 1989. Taylor Swift si è aggiudicata 3 Grammy nelle categorie più importanti (Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album e Best Music Video), a discapito del povero Kendric Lamar che si è dovuto “accontentare” di 4 Grammy, ma nella categoria Rap.
Contento anche Justin Bieber che “finalmente” è riuscito a portarsi a casa il suo primo Grammy (Best Dance Recording). Premio condiviso con con Skrillex e Diplo per l’hit single Where Are Ü Now.
Più che meritati i due Grammy per D’Angelo, Best R&B Song per la stupenda Really Love e Best R&B Album per Black Messiah. Sempre in ambito Black due Grammy se li è portati a casa The Weeknd, Best Urban Contemporary Album per Beauty Behind the Madness e Best R&B Performance per Earned It (dalla colonna sonora di 50 Sfumature di Grigio).
Resterà nella storia la performance di Lady Gaga che ha reso omaggio a David Bowie in un medley dei più grandi successi del Duca Bianco: da Space Oddity a Heroes.
E la faccia di Adele “morta dentro” alla fine della perfomance ai Grammy? che tenerezza! A sorpresa, difatti, Adele ha regalato un’esibizione traballante di All I Ask, qualche problema tecnico deve averla messa in difficoltà, ma ammettiamolo, siamo abituati a sentire di peggio.
Gwen Stefani sui pattini per presentare il suo nuovo singolo. Da più di due anni sta tentando di fare un come back come si deve, che sia la volta giusta? Il singolo, Make me like you, promette bene.
Il Grammy per Best New Artist è andato a Meghan Trainor, quella di All About That Bass.
