Da 12 settembre al 14 settembre 2023, una selezione curata con gli highlight delle prossime aste d’arte del dopoguerra, contemporanea e latinoamericana sarà in mostra ad Austin, in Texas,  al Loren Hotel

La città di Austin, nell’era post Covid-19, ha visto una rapida crescita ed è emersa come centro per i giovani collezionisti, raccontano da Christie’s. Così alla maison è parso naturale organizzare una mostra in questa grande città con le opere più importanti di tre vendite di arte contemporanea.

Secondo Bonnie Brennan (presidente di Christie’s per le Americhe) l’evento di sensibilizzazione di Austin fa parte di una strategia più ampia volta a coinvolgere gli acquirenti più giovani. Nella prima metà del 2023, circa il 30% dei clienti di Christie’s erano nuovi e circa il 39% di questi erano millennial o più giovani, ha affermato.
