Il bilancio internazionale 2016 relativo al mercato dell’arte in ribasso rispetto al 2015.

I dati ufficiali di Christie’s e Sotheby’s non sono ancora stati diffusi. Ma nonostante non sia ancora arrivato il dato ufficiale, si può affermare che  la distanza dagli incassi 2014 e 2015 è ben visibile. Nella top ten 2016 delle opere più costose vendute in asta trionfa Claude Monet con “Meule” del 1891, venduto da Christie’s il 16 novembre a oltre 81 milioni di dollari. Si posizionano al quarto posto un dipinto antico, di Peter Paul Rubens (battuto a 59 milioni) e al quinto un diamante blu (venduto a 58 milioni).
