New York si veste d'oriente

L’Asia verrà celebrata tra il 7 e il 13 settembre 2012 con mostre, conferenze, eventi e aste da Sotheby’s a New York. Le aste sono guidate dalla vendita di “Arte moderna e contemporanea dell’Asia meridionale”, che presenta alcuni capolavori provenienti da collezioni private. Per l’Arte Cinese sono previsti due giorni di vendita in cui andranno all’incanto circa 400 lotti tra porcellane Shaw Qing e ceramiche. Chiude la settimana la vendita dedicata ai dipinti cinesi, con un totale di 150 lotti e opere degli artisti di spicco delle dinastie Ming e Qing. Di seguito il calendario nel dettaglio:
