Da Sotheby’s new record modiale di $108,377,219 per una vendita di Gioielli. (sorpassato il record sempre da sotheby’s a Ginevra realizzato nel nvembre del 2011 con una vendita che aveva totalizzato 105 milioni di dollari). Oltre 24 lotti sono stati aggiudicati per oltre 1 milione di dollari. Il Beau Sancy – uno dei più importanti diamanti storici mai prima apparsi in asta – è stato venduto a CHF 9,042,500 ($9,699,618)

The two days of sales of jewellery at Sotheby’s this week achieved a record total with 94% of lots finding buyers and doubling the presale estimate: proof that privately sourced jewels, many with noble provenance are highly sought after.”
