Il manuscritto della sua epica canzone Like a Rolling Stone datato 1965, è stato battuto ieri 24 giugno a New York, a $2.045.000, contro una stima di $1/2 milioni. Il testo della canzone, acquistato da un collezionista privato, era il top lot dell’asta Rock & Roll History: Presley to Punk, la prima vendita di Sotheby’s dedicata alla storia della musica, che complessivamente ha totalizzato $4,088,630.
Tra gli altri highlights, pezzi di Elvis Presley, dei Rolling Stones, dei Beatles e di John Mitchell.
