Opere ex studenti illustri Goldsmiths: 1,4 M £ da Christie’s

La vendita del 12 febbraio a Londra delle opere della collezione Goldsmiths da Christie’s ha totalizzato £1,442,625 ($2,198,561 /€1,937,445). La selezione di lavori è andata all’incanto durante l’asta “day” di Post-War & Contemporary Art  che ha realizzato complessivamente 14,770,700 £.

Un grande contributo quindi per i 2,8 milioni di sterline che servono per realizzare la galleria alla Goldsmiths University. Alcuni degli illustri studenti della università come Antony Gormley, Damien Hirst, Sarah Lucas, Sam Taylor-Johnson e Steve McQueen hanno donato 24 loro opere per realizzare questo progetto in uno dei migliori centri di ricerca in Visual Art dell’Inghilterra.
