Per celebrare il 60° anniversario dei film di James Bond, Christie’s ed EON Productions terranno una vendita di beneficenza in due parti intitolata “Sixty Years of James Bond“. A  settembre, per un totale di 60 lotti

La partecipazione all’asta dal vivo del 28 settembre è solo su invito per fare offerte di persona. Mentre fan e collezionisti di tutto il mondo potranno fare offerte online o telefoniche. La vendita live offre 25 lotti e comprende veicoli, orologi, costumi e oggetti di scena associati al 25° film “No Time To Die” e gli ultimi sei lotti sono offerti per celebrare ciascuno dei sei James Bond. La vendita online sarà aperta alle offerte dal 15 settembre fino al “James Bond Day”, il 5 ottobre, e presenta 35 lotti che abbracciano i venticinque film con poster, oggetti di scena, costumi, cimeli.

Come per le ultime tre aste ufficiali di Christie’s dedicate a 007 – che hanno raccolto £ 4.812.525 / $ 7.196.146 / € 6.092.361 – i proventi di questa vendita sono destinati a diversi enti di beneficenza. La mostra pre-vendita si terrà presso la sede di Christie’s a Londra, in King Street, dal 15 al 28 settembre.

L’asta dal vivo del 28 settembre si concluderà con sei lotti che rappresentano ognuno dei sei attori che hanno interpretato Bond: Sir Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Sir Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan e Daniel Craig. Ogni lotto sarà venduto a beneficio di un ente di beneficenza scelto personalmente dai rispettivi attori o dalle loro estate.

Sir Sean Connery – The Scottish Youth Film Foundation: un soggiorno di cinque notti presso la villa Fleming a GoldenEye. Questo lotto sarà accompagnato da un facsimile della sceneggiatura  commentata di Berkley Mather per il primo film di James Bond “Licenza di uccidere” (titolo originale, “Dr. No“). Stima: £ 30.000-50.000.

Timothy Dalton – National Youth Theatre: da “License To Kill” (1989), uno smoking nero monopetto indossato da Dalton nei panni di James Bond, autografato sulla fodera interna della giacca, insieme a un set di quaranta fiches Casino de Isthmus. Le stesse fiches da poker sono state successivamente riutilizzate in Golden Eye (1995) al casinò di Monte Carlo con ancora il logo Isthmus City Casino (stima: £ 6.000-10.000).

AUTO: ASTON MARTIN, JAGUAR E LAND ROVER – No Time To Die

Il lotto più caro della vendita è un’auto acrobatica Aston Martin DB5 argentata, una delle otto repliche costruite per il film da Aston Martin e dotata di modifiche “Q Branch”. Questa è l’unica auto acrobatica DB5 ad essere messa in vendita e stima tra £ 1.500.000 e £ 2.000.000. Il ricavato andrà a beneficio di The Prince’s Trust.

Verranno offerte altre due Aston Martin da “No Time To Die”. La prima, un’Aston Martin V8 del 1981, una delle sole tre modificate appositamente per questo film, guidata da Daniel Craig; viene venduta a beneficio della ong United Kingdom for UNHCR  (stima: £ 500.000-700.000). L’altra è un’Aston Martin DBS Superleggera “No Time To Die 007 Special Edition” con una targa unica incisa con le firme dei produttori di 007 che viene venduta a beneficio della Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (stima: £ 300.000-400.000).  Verranno offerte anche Jaguar, Land Rover Defender e  Range Rove.
