Dal prossimo 30 settembre, il Guggenheim Museum di Bilbao ospita la mostra Francis Bacon: From Picasso to Velázquez, una selezione di quasi ottanta dipinti tra i più importanti dell’artista anglo-irlandese, inclusi alcuni che raramente sono stati esposti al pubblico. Saranno affiancati dai lavori diegli artisti che hanno maggiormente influenzato la sua carriera. La mostra di Bilbao, che cercherà di indagare approfonditamente l’influenza della cultura francese e spagnola nell’arte di Bacon, proseguirà fino a gennaio 2017.
