L’edizione londinese dell’asta di Christie’s “The Collector” si tiene online dall’8 al 22 settembre. La novità per questa edizione è la collaborazione con l’interior designer e direttore creativo Charlotte Taylor

Charlotte Taylor ha uno studio a Londra, Maison de Sable, che disegna ville immaginarie in bilico tra passato e futuro: realizzate in 3D, si ispirano alle atmosfere spaziali degli anni ’60. Le sue ambientazioni bidimensionali evolvono in 3D, spesso animate, fino a tradursi in progetti concreti di architettura, design di interni e arredamento. Il suo lavoro crea interni e spazi che fondono lo scultoreo con il pratico; il futuristico con il comfort.

Esplorando i confini tra digitale e fisico, lo Studio Charlotte Taylor utilizza rendering visivi ultra-realistici per reimmaginare gli interni del mondo reale. Spingendo le regole convenzionali, il risultato è una visione e uno stile unici. Giocando con texture, luce e forma, gli interni digitali che ha progettato per questa vendita di Christie’s sono ispirati all’architettura della metà del secolo con influenze di epoche diverse. Gli highlight dell’asta sono presentati in una straordinaria cornice digitale contemporanea: le composizioni illustrano modi senza tempo per esporre e vivere le arti decorative in contesti contemporanei.

La vendita The Collector comprende oltre 250 lotti tra mobili europei e inglesi, argenti, ceramiche, vetri, orologi e scatole d’oro dal XVI al XX secolo.Le stime vanno da £ 400 a £ 100.000.
