Il gallerista newyorkese Dominique Lévy aprirà il prossimo autunno una nuova galleria a Londra. A dirigerla sarà Lock Kresler, ex direttore di Christie’s, affiancato da Eloise Margoline.
La scelta di questa espansione transatlantica – ha dichiarato Lévy – è giustificata dal programma della galleria, da sempre alla ricerca di un dialogo vivace tra Europa e America. “Con questo spazio londinese, avremo rapporti ancora più stretti con i nostri artisti e collezionisti europei” – ha concluso.
La galleria avrà sede al numero 22 di Old Bond Street, nel quartiere di Mayfair e non lontano dalla Royal Academy of Arts, in un edificio costruito nel XIX secolo dalla famiglia Duveen basato sul progetto di un palazzo veneziano.
